Emily R. Shaw, CFA, CAM
Owner, Director of Project Management Services

Emily brings six years of investment management and eight years of community management experience to VERA. From 2007-2013, Emily worked as a financial analyst for Bank of America. She earned her Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2013. In 2009, she joined the Board of Directors of Harbour Place City Homes in Tampa, Florida and, in 2010, became the Treasurer of the Board. In 2011, Harbour Place City Homes became self-managed and Emily served as President of the Board through 2016.

In her spare time, Emily blogs on the subject of condominium and homeowners' association management at www.flcondoassociationadvisor.com. Emily graduated in 2007 with a BS in Financial Mathematics from the University of Virginia. She was born in Charlottesville, Virginia and raised in Clearwater, Florida.

Amanda N. Smith, CAM
Director of Property Maintenance Services

Amanda brings over 10 years of real estate and property management experience to VERA. From 2005 – 2007, she held various positions, including Director of Marketing, at Premier Realty Advisors, a condominium conversion firm. In 2007, Amanda earned her CAM license and began working for a commercial and residential property management company during which time she managed five different condominium and homeowners' associations. From 2011 – 2013, she served as the full-time property manager for Harbour Place City Homes, a 206-unit condominium on Harbour Island in Tampa, FL.

Amanda graduated in 2005 with a BA in Communications from Florida Southern College.  She was born and raised in Plant City, FL.

Ryan M. Koski, JD, CPA
Director of Financial Services

Ryan brings over a decade of accounting experience to VERA. Since graduating from Tampa Preparatory School in 2002, Ryan has been working with his family's firm, Accounting Clinic, an accounting firm established in 1976 and based in Palm Harbor, Florida. There, Ryan provides bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial guidance and legal services to individuals, corporations, non-profits and community associations. Since 2011 he has been actively involved with the financial aspects of Harbour Place City Homes in Tampa, Florida. 

Ryan graduated with a Masters of Accountancy from Stetson University in 2007 and earned his Certified Public Accountant designation in 2009. In 2012, he obtained his law degree from Stetson University College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar Association. Ryan was born and raised in Dunedin, Florida.

Brooke Corey
Director of Administrative Services
Brooke began working with VERA in 2018. Since that time, she has become VERA’s in-house expert relates to association approval of sales and leases and serves as the primary point of contact for all owners and real estate agents selling or leasing their units. Further, Brooke has enhanced and implements VERA’s maintenance fee collection procedures. Prior to working with VERA, she earned a BA in International Affairs and History from Florida State University. While at FSU, she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority and held various sales positions.
